If that is not enough, they also threw in a rear searing burner for a grill that delivers tremendous space along with its high-quality construction. The party is all in the front for this nearly full stainless steel grill which makes a bit of an issue with venting in the back.
Moving around on a large cart style design with an expansive double doored storage cabinet this is a gigantic grill for equally large meals. If you are looking for a durable and stylish grill fit for cooking a meal for the whole block this liquid propane gas grill fits into the mid range with a price around 500 dollars.
Main Characteristics
I hope you like cooking for a lot of people because that is the primary attribute that this grill brings. With five stainless steel burners for the central cooking area, this humongous grill quickly heats up a surface area of 776 square inches when you throw in the 190 square inch warming rack.
Whether you are cooking ten, twenty, or thirty, burgers this grill should still have room to spare. Each burner spits out 10,000 BTU’s of cooking power.
On the left side shelf, we have another side burner that packs 9,000 BTU’s making it excellent for preparing sauces or side items. To bring up the rear we have a 12,000 BTU sear burner for Hibachi style grill with a bit of extra punch over the other elements. For a total of 71,000 BTU’s that put this grill near the top in power for mid range grills.
Over the top of the burners, we have porcelain enameled cast iron grates for a durable cooking surface that only lags behind stainless steel when it comes to ease of cleaning. The core of this grill is made of quality materials that should last well past the warranty period.
Pros
- Five main burners plus two utility burners all made of stainless steel give your a dynamic large cooking surface
- Stainless steel composes the majority of this grills make up bringing a nice shine along with durability and easy cleaning
- You won’t find many grills that put out more power than this grill for the mid range price
Cons
- Most of the focus is on the front of the grill which leads to a back that is poorly vented which might effect heat retention with the lid up
- This grill has a bunch of elements but still, has a pretty light weight which is a plus for mobility while also questionable for the long term
Design
The first thing you will notice this grill is its massive size, but after that, you should appreciate the primarily silver build that uses stainless steel from the lid to the base. With black only making a brief appearance to outline the cabinet for a simple yet elegant design.
Starting from the top, we have a double layered lid which aids in heat retention and makes an excellent addition if you are interested in slowing cooking meals with a sweet, smoky flavor. The elongated control panel features black knobs for controlling each burner. The cabinet uses horizontal handles on its double stainless steel doors that open up to reveal a bunch of space for storing all your precious grill accessories from tools to condiments room is hardly an issue here.
Four rolling caster wheels support the base with locking mechanisms for easy adjustment to different surfaces. This grill looks heavy duty but still brings a relatively light weight of 123 pounds for a full bodied grill.
Special Features
With the majority of thought spent on making a grill with a massive cooking space and a variety of burners, it seems Royal Gourmet did not put too much attention on unique features.
Still, we have a few things added in to make this grill more than a giant pretending to fit in with its mid range competition. An electronic ignition system brings a fast start to your grilling experience at the touch of a button. We also can quickly remove grease tray to make cleaning less of a chore.
The built in lid thermometer reaches deep down into the grill to bring you accurate temperature readings. That is pretty much it with a grill focuses on bringing size to the griller on a budget the focus is more on delivering quality along instead of unique features.
Warranty
The light weight issue rears its ugly head again here to raise reservations for a grill that is not exactly cheap. If you expect to find a good warranty to cover all of the high-quality materials in this grill, then you will be sorely disappointed.
This grill only has a one-year manufacturers warranty on the entire machine which pales in comparison to most grills even in this range that offers warranties of two, five, and ten years on the stainless steel burners at the very least.

Summary
If the main issues of a lackluster warranty, poor rear venting, and a lightweight construction don't scare you away this grill makes a pretty nice mid ranged package. With a total of seven burners packing 71,000 BTU's of power, the size and strength are not to be discounted.
With the double layered lid, this grill should cook great with the lid closed though when its up even with all that power the individual burners might struggle to reach the appropriate temperature outside of the sear burner.
The most important thing for any purchaser of this grill must be a large cooking surface with a stainless steel build otherwise you might want to look elsewhere. Look at the grills in a similar price segment - Weber Spirit.
